No, of course not. You don´t have to say Mom and Dad to them. They can´t demand that from you. When you like, you can call them Mum and Dad and I guess they would be so happy about this. But I also don´t want to call them Mum and Dad, because their not my parents and even if I get on with them very good, their still not my parents and i will call them by their names.

yes, thats a problem for me too,... i think its quite diffrent, to call some people you didn't know mum and dad.. hmm, but i think when you know them a while its normally! oh yes im afraid of getting homesick...

My Problems...I dont know, if I could live in a family which I call my "second family" and call them mom and dad...I think it`ll be very difficult for me!
And I dont know if i get homesick...

Just recently, I heard of a program which actually allows u to visit more than one country during ur exchange year... I'm not quite sure what it was all about, I think it was more for, like, college students... u start out in one country, like the us, and then, after like six months, u go to a different country, like french canada or mexico. I think it sounds pretty interesting... but then again: u just made friends and started feeling at home in one country, and then u have to leave all that behind and go to another one, where ppl even speak a different language... I think that would be kinda difficult.
